In the End
“The truth shall set you free.” – This I quoted at the beginning of the book. Now you can ask, “The truth, according to whom?”
The answer is that you will have to figure it out for yourself. If I want to find out the truth about something and there is more than one view as to what the truth “is”, I apply a method of “elimination”. You look at all the pieces and start with taking all the ones away you can proof [or think off] as being “not-true”. You do this until you are left with the “truth”. Just remember that there might be pieces that you have not seen or know about yet, so be careful not to make your final decision to easily.
What do I believe?
About, Christianity
If the worship of a Judean carpenter has taken any time and absorbed any psychic effort that could have been expended in the culture of divine graciousness within the heart of humanity, it has by so much held back the evolution of the human race.
Christianity has made of millions, groveling beggars, reveling in the turpitude of sin-confession and praying for God to have mercy on their unworthiness. It has made them wretches pleading piteously to be saved. Christianity has caused a degeneration of the human “self” and pshyci. It has caused people to become slack, lazy and blasé about their own self and the true meaning of life, here and now. They have been brainwashed to rely, for absolutely everything, on an external entity, rather than taking control of their own lives. There is no real growth and development of the “self”, rather a slow erosion and killing off of the “self”. What is being created is a robot, a slave, a mindless shell that looks good on the outside and is filled with a blinding darkness. How it has ever been assumed that a God of good sense would enjoy seeing his creatures, which he has himself divinely endowed with a portion of his own mind, writhing in worm-of-the-dust sycophancy at his feet, is beyond rational understanding. It is naturally to be presumed that he would take far greater delight in seeing them standing up in the might of their incipient divinity and making a fight of it. The morbid cast of the mental condition generated in millions of Christians over 2000 years, by the doctrinal falsification of the esoteric meaning and origin of "sin" is perhaps the most inexcusable spectacle presented to the world in all time. That a religion could so far lose touch with sober sanity as to expect that it could exalt and edify man’s spirit by grinding it down into the dust is evidence at once of its complete divagation from basic sound truth.
Christianity has hung like a stone around the neck of humanity against real cultural and scientific advance for many centuries. It has struck at every pioneer in the progress of true culture. Its highest practical aim has rather been to maintain an average level of decency in traditional forms of social life. Much incidental good of course has emerged from an effort to which millions of good people, in more or less ignorance of historic truth, have consecrated their life’s devotion. It has dragged humanity in a falsified light that is actually darker than the darkest night.
About True Spirituality
John 10:33-34 The Jews threatened to execute Jesus for blasphemy, since he claimed to be God. However, Jesus defended himself by quoting Ps.82:6: "Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?"
Yes, we are gods in our own right. We have come out of the primordial soup of millennia past. Now we stand as conquerors of evolution and time. However, do we fully understand or have we fully achieved our potential yet? No. I believe we are still evolving as a species that we are in our selfish and rebellious (teenage) years of growing up. We as humans have a real and unlimited potential of becoming much more than what we are right now. We have the power to change, control, redirect and nurture our natural selves.
Let us not assume that we have arrived and now we can sit back and bask in our own selfish wills. As we have seen, we are lucky to be here and should treasure the opportunities given to us to fulfil our rolls as gods in this world. Let us not assume we have no responsibilities. Let us not assume we have nothing more to learn. Like a wise man once said: “Assumption is the mother of all f…ups”.
1. Primarily you are your own god and saviour. You have to be responsible for yourself in every aspect of life. You have to believe in yourself, completely, before you can even consider believing in any thing ells. You must be able to forgive yourself before seeking forgiveness from another. You as your own god have to realise that everything you think and do has consequences, for yourself and others. That your actions affect the “spiritual*” realm around you. Everything has consequences, good or bad.
2. As I have said before. There is only one true sin and that is to exercise your [free] will in a negative way. What is “negative” you might ask? It is mostly obvious but on many issues, you will have to figure it out for yourself.
3. When we understand the first point completely you realise that each one of us has a responsibility, as gods, for this generation we live in and all to come. Yes, the earth and humans will continue to live on for thousands, millions of years into the future once we pass away. I have always believed that if you want to know where you are going you have to know where you come from. The same applies to humanity. We as a species will do well to study our past, to better understand our future. We have a responsibility to ensure that our children have a future, that they are enlightened by our deeds. We need to responsibly inform the next generation on their responsibilities and teach them to continuously reach for their full potential as humans.
4. It is the individual’s task of perfecting his own innate divinity.
* I believe there is a world or dimension around us, which we are all connected to and part off. In the far future, we will be able to quantify and even interact with it with means that are more scientific. However, for now, while we are still searching for answers, let us call it the spiritual realm. However, it is not the “spiritual realm” of the Christians and other Faiths.
To help you on the journey, to find yourself and true spirituality, I would like to recommend a book you can use as a tool in this process. It is absolutely an amazing book! – “As a man thinketh”, by James Allen
The Real Bible
For thousands of years humans have been writing the real Bible, it is being written from day to day, and it will never be finished while man has life. All the facts that we know, all the truly recorded events, all the discoveries and inventions, all the wonderful machines whose wheels and levers seem to think, all the poems, crystals from the brain, flowers from the heart, all the songs of love and joy, of smiles and tears, the great dramas of Imagination's world, the wondrous paintings, miracles of form and colour, of light and shade, the marvellous marbles that seem to live and breathe, the secrets told by rock and star, by dust and flower, by rain and snow, by frost and flame, by winding stream and desert sand, by mountain range and billowed sea.
All the wisdom that lengthens and enables life, all that avoids or cures disease, or conquers pain, all just and perfect laws and rules that guide and shape our lives, all thoughts that feed the flames of love the music that transfigures, enraptures and enthrals the victories of heart and brain, the miracles that hands have wrought, the deft and cunning hands of those who worked for wife and child, the histories of noble deeds, of brave and useful men, of faithful loving wives, of quenchless mother-love, of conflicts for the right, of sufferings for the truth, of all the best that all the men and women of the world have said, and thought and done through all the years.
These treasures of the heart and brain, these are the Sacred Scriptures of the human race.
Chaos
I believe there are three main reasons for all the pain & suffering in the world.
1. “Natural disasters”
We are living in a physical universe where “natural” disasters do happen. We do loose loved ones when we believe we should not have and “bad” things do happen to good and bad people.
2. Evil does exist
Evil does exist and finds way’s to manifest through people. Like Goodness, Evil is a by-product of humans, sentient beings. We have to take responsibility for this and understand that it is part of us, no matter how much we would like to ignore or deny it. It is each person’s responsibility to resist evil in them selves and in other people in any way, they can. I do not have to list all the people here who over the centuries have committed countless acts of atrocities towards there fellow human beings, you know more than your fare share of them.
3. Fundamentalism
Any form of fundamentalist beliefs, like Christianity, Judaism & Islam. These faiths and others is trying [in vain] to counter evil in the world with their [false] believes, teachings and promises. They have caused more harm than good. They have taken Evil and wrapped it up in white light; them selves blinded by this white light of evil, have tried to force it on other people.
I will get back to these 3 points in just a moment. Let us have a closer look at Chaos it self. Chaos can also be described as, disorder, confusion, anarchy, turmoil, madness etc, etc.
I agree with the description of chaos. However, I believe that is only ONE side of it. I believe chaos can also be described as, beautiful, breathtaking, amazing, mesmerising, wonderful, functional, creative etc, etc.
By now, you are probably laughing and thinking that I fell of my chair and hit my head very hard!
Nevertheless, when last did you stand outside and look into an oncoming thunderstorm. With the lightning playing in the clouds, without a sound because it is so far away and lighting up multiple layers of clouds. Have you seen the destructive force of chaos that created Niagara- and Victoria falls? These are just small things. Look at our beautiful planet. It was created by unimagined chaos that reigned for billions of years. If you look at pictures from our universe between the stars, you will be astonished with the beauty you find there. Not only was our earth, atmosphere, solar system, milky way and the entire universe created by unimaginable chaotic forces, it has done so in a way that we can live here and call it home.
I believe Chaos consist of three things:
1. Balance
There is a natural balance in Chaos. However, this balance can be upset by the dominance of either “Evil” or “Goodness”. Good and bad things can / do happen to everyone.
2. Evil
As I said before, evil does exist. It comes from within us and it manifests through people who has lost themselves in the perversities of their [free] will and who has forsaken their responsibilities [as gods]. They [try to] place themselves and their needs and wants above all other humans. So stop saying the devil made me do it. You are your own worst devil.
3. Goodness
There is goodness in the world. However, unfortunately, after 8,000 years, very few people have realised that religion, especially in a fundamentalist form, has not succeeded and does not have the true answer to balance out evil in this world. The real goodness comes from within you. It does not come from some godly source out their in heaven sitting on a throne and shouting out demands. You have the ability to choose and live in goodness over evil.
Each one of us has the potential for being good or bad. However, you have to take up the responsibility that comes with being “good”. There is a fine line between being good and crossing over to become bad. It is usually fundamentalism that pushes people over to the dark side, while shining a light for them, without them even knowing it.
Being humble - You do not have to believe, that being humble you have to be less than others are, which is nonsense. Being humble makes you equal to all others, but you realise that if you are not responsible you have the capacity and capability to be evil.
Hope – Hope is wasted on hoping for rewards and eternal life after you die and leave this world. Rather place your hope in yourself and in your fellow human beings [god’s], that we will all choose goodness over evil.
If I have to put my faith in anything other than myself, it will be in Chaos. I believe it is time for religion and fundamentalism to be kicked out and be replaced by “spirituality”, a new way of spirituality where we are looking into ourselves and not outwards to someone or something ells.
I hope you will join me on this new journey of finding our true selves, our true spirituality and our true potential.
